Southern Utah Alumni Chapter Scholarships

The Southern Utah Alumni Chapter of the University of Utah Alumni Association is proud to award five scholarships in the amount of $2,000 to be applied directly to successful applicants’ tuition, books, and/or fees.

Southern Utah Alumni Scholarships will be awarded to students who graduated from Southern Utah high schools and currently attend or are planning to attend the University of Utah.  Each scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence, leadership, and service to the community and school.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Please submit a completed application, along with:

• Copy of official high school and/or college transcripts
• A two-page, double-spaced essay:
• Explain your academic plans.
• Describe your plans after college.
• Why are you choosing the U?
• What do you expect from the U?
• Why do you deserve a scholarship over other applicants?
• Describe any life experiences that you have had that should be considered.
• Include any information that might help the scholarship committee in making a choice.
• Include your name at the top of each submitted page.
