Attention, Football Fans: 2008 Football Season Tickets Go On Sale Thursday, Nov. 29.

For the second year in a row, Athletics broke the record for the most season tickets sold in Utah football history (25,251). With the nucleus of the football team returning next year, 2008 (beginning August 30) should be an exciting season!

Utah’s 2008 home schedule is highlighted by games with Brigham Young and Oregon State. TCU, Weber State, UNLV, and Colorado State will also come to Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2008. Dates for the non-conference games should be finalized soon, and the Mountain West Conference expects to release the complete schedule by April 1.

Season ticket holders receive a significant discount over purchasing on a single-game basis. Season tickets are also the only way to guarantee a seat for the BYU game. In addition, season ticket holders and Crimson Club members will be given first preference to purchase tickets to the season-opening game at Michigan on Aug. 30.

Season tickets start at just $85 for adults in the Red Zone and $60 for youth (12 and under). Reserved bleacher seating season tickets are $135 and Scholarship seating starts at $210.

As an added incentive to buy early, anyone who purchases new season tickets or renews existing season tickets by Jan. 30 will receive a complimentary Utah Ticket Pack that includes two lower-level tickets for any Utah men’s basketball game other than the BYU game, and four tickets to any 2008 Utah gymnastics meet.

Utah football season tickets can be purchased by logging onto www.utahtickets.com, by calling 581-UTIX, or in person Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Rice-Eccles Stadium Ticket Office.
