Join the Utes at the Emerald Bowl - December 29

Fresh off a thrilling overtime rivalry victory over BYU, the Utah Utes have been selected to play in the Emerald Bowl in San Francisco on Thursday, December 29.

Unlike with last season's Fiesta Bowl, the University of Utah has reserved a block of field-level seats specifically for Utah fans, so you can be sure to be surrounded by other loyal Utes.

The Emerald Bowl kicks off at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time and will be played at SBC Park, which sits right on the shore of San Francisco Bay. The Utes will know their opponent early next week when all regular-season play is finished.

The Alumni Association is finalizing details for a pep rally and tailgate event preceding the game. Tentative plans include:

Wednesday, Dec. 28 - Pep Rally (Hyatt Regency Embarcaderos Hotel beginning at 5:30 p.m.): Featuring fans, coaches, players, marching band, cheerleaders, and Swoop, with a cash bar and light appetizers. The event is free.

Thursday, Dec. 29 - Pregame Tailgate (Marina Plaza at SBC Park): Cost is $30 for adults, $15 for children under 12 and under, and features food, fans, marching band, cheerleaders, and Swoop; 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Reserve your tailgate tickets online. Purchase now!
