Attention, Southern California Alumni!

Mark May 15 for the Second Night at Paramount Studios event!

Join the Los Angeles Chapter of the University of Utah Alumni Association on Thursday, May 15, at Paramount Studios for an evening of entertainment and enlightenment, not to mention the chance to socialize with other U of U alumni and administrators.
 
The evening’s events start at 7 p.m. with a reception outside the Paramount Studios theatre where light refreshments will be served. Around 7:30 p.m. we’ll move inside the theatre for a program featuring University of Utah President Michael K. Young, who will  regale alumni with happenings across the U of U campus. Vocal artist and U of U alumna Shauna Burns BS’03, recently described as one of indie music’s rising stars (“an ethereal-voiced singer, songwriter, and pianist”) is scheduled to perform one of her latest songs.

The host for the evening is John S. Nogawski BS’82, president of CBS Television Distribution, who will welcome alumni and provide an overview of the exciting world of film and TV production at Paramount.

To cap off the evening, one of Paramount’s summer blockbuster movies will be shown. Final arrangements are still pending on which film will be made available, but an update will be provided soon.

The cost is $10 per person. More information is forthcoming, along with online registration for the event. Stay tuned!
