Scholarships 2008-2009

The Alumni Association is proud to recognize the academic achievements, community and University involvement, and outstanding potential of current and incoming students by offering a number of scholarships each year to qualified candidates. The Alumni Association helps students reach their academic goals by awarding more than $150,000 in scholarship funds annually. If you would like to participate in this initiative, you may donate to the General Scholarship Fund or the individual Chapter Scholarship Funds.

Alumni Association Nonresident Scholarship for Incoming Freshmen

  • Open to high school seniors who are nonresidents of Utah and who are the children or grandchildren of a University alumnus/a

  • Scholarship amount will be applied to a tuition waiver and University Residential Living Housing waiver

  • Up to six scholarships will be awarded

  • Applicants must currently be sophomore students at the University of Utah (30-59 credit hours)
