Homecoming 2009 Scholarship Scramble

The fourth annual Homecoming Scholarship Scramble took place on Friday, September 25, at Bonneville Golf Course. The tournament brought together a full field of golfers, from corporate and community supporters to students and university staff. Players enjoyed a spectacular autumn day, which concluded with an awards ceremony emceed by Joe Cravens, commentator for this year’s presenting sponsor, The MountainWest Sports Network. Chaired by Alumni Association board member Dallis Christensen, with 2010 chair-elect Greg Anderson, the tournament grossed $25,000, with proceeds earmarked for the Alumni Scholarship Fund.

The University of Utah Alumni Association wishes to thank all those who participated in the exciting Second Annual Scholarship Scramble Golf Tournament at beautiful Bonneville Golf Course!

Our special thanks to Dallis Christensen, Greg Anderson, and our sponsors. Their support, along with a full field of golfers, raised thousands of dollars to benefit the Alumni Student Scholarship Fund.

The Alumni Association awards more than 100 scholarships to deserving students each year, and events like the Homecoming Scholarship Scramble help make it all possible.
