Welcome to the University of Utah Bay Area Alumni Chapter
The Bay Area Alumni Chapter of the University of Utah Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization managed by a volunteer group of U of U alumni interested in having a great time interacting with fellow alumni in the Bay Area. Our goal is to help U of U alumni reconnect with the University and with each other, and to continue to build on the U’s strong traditions.

Student Scholarships
The Bay Area Chapter of the UUAA is proud to award two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each, to be applied directly to the winner’s tuition and/or book fees. Applications are for 2008-09 are currently being processed. The application form for 2009-10 is forthcoming.

Upcoming activities in 2008
October 4 – It’s time for the 3rd Annual Bay Area Chapter Golf Tournament! This year’s event will be held at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo on Saturday, October 4th. Tee-off takes place at 1 p.m., with a social and dinner to follow; $195 per person includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, and dinner. Hole sponsorships for $150 are available, as well as mulligans, tee prizes, and a silent auction. The proceeds will once again benefit the Bay Area Chapter Scholarship Fund.
