Presented by the Emeritus Alumni Board (EAB) annually to former students who attended the University of Utah 40 or more years ago and who have given distinguished service to the University, the national or local communities, and/or their profession. The awards will be presented at this year's Merit of Honor Banquet at the Rice-Eccles Stadium & Tower in the fourth floor's Scholarship Reception Room. The Reception will be at 6:30, and the dinner and program will begin at 7:00.

Represents the highest honor the Association bestows upon a former student of the University. Four awards are given annually. The 2009 award recipients were honored at the annual Founders Day Banquet.

Presented by the Young Alumni Board (YAB) annually to a former University of Utah student who attended within the last 15 years and has given outstanding service to the University, the community, and his/her profession.

Recognizes a faculty or staff member who has made outstanding contributions to the University through his/her student advising and counseling. Recipient receives a $500 cash stipend and is honored at the annual Spring Awards Banquet.
