Young Alumni Scholarship 5K & Kids 1K (Fun) Run

Alumni, friends, students, and faculty and staff are all invited to join the annual Young Alumni Scholarship 5K & Kids 1K (Fun) Run on Homecoming day, September 27. 

Each year the Young Alumni Board sponsors a 5K run to raise scholarship funds for University of Utah students.  As a result of last year’s efforts, the Young Alumni were able to award 19 students with scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year.

The event has become one of the most popular of Homecoming Week, drawing more than 400 runners/walkers/strollers to the Alumni House to participate. There are always a bunch of doorprizes, goodies to eat, games, and just plain fun for the whole family!

Time: Registration: 7-8:15 a.m.
5K: 8:30 a.m.
Kids K (12 years and under): 9:30 a.m.
